Paid On Results is proud to announce the release of the latest version of our highly regarded Affiliate Control Panel. The new Affiliate Control Panel hosts a number of new and improved features and reports, including the release of our upgraded Content Creator – making it simple to create your own custom designed product feed content.
The launch of this control panel will also see a change in how we plan to introduce future upgrades and new releases. Rather than holding the launches of our major upgrades until we have several new features all available at one time, we will be introducing minor changes and new features thought the year.
We always listen to feedback we receive from our active affiliate base so please be sure to leave any ideas or suggestions via the feedback forum when you logout of the control area. Many of the upgrades you see today are as a result of such feedback.
The Affiliate Control Panel was developed fully in-house by Paid On Results.
Paid On Results is proud to announce the forthcoming release of our new Affiliate Control Panel which is due to be released this Thursday. The new Affiliate Control Panel hosts a number of new features and reports, along with the release of our new Content Creator - for creating your own custom designed product feed content. To whet your appetite, here is a summary of the key new features.
Content Creator - our first Content Creator was highly rated by Affiliates, and the new version is even better. With an integrated in-browser WYSIWYG HTML editor, you can create truly customised product content. Everyone from the techie to the tea boy will be able to use this system to create product content. The content is served dynamically keeping it up to date.
Basket Data Report - see which products are being purchased by your visitors. Merchants need to support this feature, however, already a number of our Merchants have integrated the necessary advanced tracking code. We already have Basket Data going back to 2005 for some Merchants! You can even grab links and product images for any product listed in the report.
Bulletins - every Affiliate knows the feeling of an ever increasing Inbox full of emails from Merchants with their latest promotions and offers. Our new bulletins system gives Merchants the platform they need to effectively get that information out to Affiliates. Like our Voucher Manager, you can subscribe to the latest bulletins and receive emails which can be personalised to give you exactly the information you require. You will also receive the Affiliate links you need.
Improvements to the Merchant Directory make it even easier to select Merchants to promote by providing the following detailed performance data for each Merchant - Conversion Ratio, Average Commission and Approval Rate. Additionally, a number of other improvements have been made to each report incorporating a fresh new design across the whole Affiliate Control Panel.

Paid On Results launch a unique way for Affiliates to deal with expired links. In the ideal world, as Merchants close a program, Affiliates will nip on and remove the links replacing them with relevant new Merchants. However, we are very aware that the time involved in just hunting down the links over a number of sites can be very time consuming and, as one large affiliate pointed out, some times a few links get lost in the mix and are very hard to track down.
In steps the Paid On Results Expired Merchants System. Affiliates can pre-select how they deal with Merchants when their links have expired.
Choices include:
- Display the standard expired Merchants page, with related Merchant links.
- Display your own customised expired Merchants Page. You design it and we automatically insert the most relevant Merchants from our Network.
- Continue to redirect to the expired Merchant as normal. Of course no commission will be paid.
- Redirect to any URL of your choice. You can even show related Merchants links with the cut and paste in code that we provide.
So we have something to cover everyone. By default, if you do nothing, we will display the standard expired Merchants page, with related Merchant links.
If one of the related Merchants we have chosen on the expired Merchants page is not one you’re an Affiliate of currently and if you make a sale via this Merchant you will be sent an email inviting you to join the program. If you do so within 7 days of the sale and are accepted (note currently we only show Merchants with an auto-join policy) then you will be rewarded with the sale. You should consider removing and updating your expired link with this new Merchant as clearly your customers are interested in buying via that Merchant should a sale happen.
The new system doesn’t just do all that, we will also email you every day with a list of expired link locations that have been clicked on (note that you do not get an email if nothing was clicked on). This will allow you to more effectively find and deal with old links on your website, and will hopefully lead to greater conversion as your site is full of live Merchants you can actively make money via.
Leading Affiliate marketing company Existem (company behind A4U Forum, A4U Expo, etc) give the Paid On Results ‘Content Creator’ 9/10 in a recent review all systems from major Affiliate Networks. Paid On Results have always prided ourselves in offering all Affiliates technology that is both easy and quick to use, so it was great delight that we read on the Existem website that Chris Johnson (Marketing Executive) has rated our system the best after trying to add content to use on the cash back site FreeFivers. What made it even more interesting was that our content system is now 2 years old having first been made live in 2005 was up against many newer system from several bigger networks that launched their offering just this year. Well I can exclusively reveal that Paid On Results has been working on an improved system that is due to go live in the coming weeks. While it is high praise to get 9/10 from Affiliates actually using the systems we have also been listening to feedback that has recommended changes, as well as studying the users interaction and the usability of the current system to come up with changes that once you see them in action you will agree have improved the system even more. Paid On Results are proud to launch our new Affiliate payment system ‘Payment On Request’. It was no surprise to us that Affiliates ranked the number 1 most important element of the Affiliate relationship with both Merchants and Networks as getting paid for the work they have done, and getting paid quickly. Paid On Results has been working hard since the start of this year to get all the elements in place such as upgrading our banking services and systems, improving Merchant invoicing, payment administration and much more to offer our new payment solution. Payment On Request is a BACS only option, it’s payment when you want. Simply submit an invoice via the Affiliate control area (you click just 2 buttons and the invoice is fully generated for you) anytime you like subject to meeting the minimum of £25 validated commission in your account, so no more waiting 6 weeks to get paid. Cheque and Paypal payments will remain on the traditional payment model, so now is the time to convert your account to payment via BACS, so you can start submitting your invoices to be paid on request starting the 10th of November. Payment On Request is yet another example of Paid On Results listening to our Affiliates and taking it that step further. FAQ: Q: How often can I get paid? Q: What bank will my payments come from? Q: What kind of information can I expect to see on my bank statement about the payment? Q: Why can’t I use Payment On Request for cheque payment? Q: I am a brand new Affiliate, will I get paid on request a few days after joining and generating £25 in commission?
A: As often as you like subject to having minimum £25 of validated commission in your account.
A: Payments come now via Bank of Scotland.
A: You should see that payment has come from Paid On Results and should included the reference of your Affiliate ID and invoice payment relates to, for example “1000-0004” would be Affiliate 1000, invoice number 0004.
A: Cheques are very time consuming, and need payment authorised company directors to be around to sign them. BACS on the other hand is very efficient and with the bespoke interface programmed by Paid On Results to output the needed files direct to our banking partner we can speed up the whole process and is why we can now offer this service to Affiliates.
A: Payment On Request system will become available to you only after you have received two payments from Paid On Results, after this your free to submit invoices when you like, as often as you like. The reason for this safeguard is to allow us time to ensure you are a genuine Affiliate and to see how your account operates.
The A4U Expo is almost here and one of the elements of what is shaping up to be a huge event is the first ever Affiliate Marketing Awards, voting for this is now closed and the results will be known as of Thursday night. Getting nominated is truly an achievement in it’s self and Paid On Results are finalists in both the “Publisher Choice of Network 2007” and “Innovation in Affiliate Marketing - Network Award” plus Clarke Duncan one of the Directors at Paid On Results is also nominated as a finalist in the section “Industry Champion Award 2007” so we are all pretty chuffed. However what we are even more thrilled about is just how many Merchants, Agencies and Affiliates involved with Paid On Results who also made it in to finalists for there respected sections. Paid On Results have launched 2 more new tools for Merchants. Data Export: Allows Merchants and Agencies the ability to download data such as sales information to integrate in to software such as Excel or their own stats packages, data download is fully customisable to allow you to set up the information you want in the order you wish to receive it. Credit Affiliate: Allows Merchants to credit Affiliates with bonus payments such as for competitions or incentives, easy system to use that will save you both time and money when dealing with allocating rewards for your Affiliates, bonus payments will not be subject to any override and have a flat £1 administration fee. When you compare this to the cost of dealing with invoices, allocating payments, writing cheques and post them you can see what a time and money save this new system is and we hope will encourage more Merchants to offer bonus payments for Affiliates. We have also added the ability for Merchants to add “missing” payments for sales that may not have tracked for various reasons. This easy to use no fuss system, will save you time and allow you to deal with Affiliate commission issues fast and effectively. Available now in the Merchant control area, and if you’re not a Merchant with Paid On Results why not pop-by our stand at the A4U Expo for a demonstration of these plus other market leading tools that Paid On Results provided Merchants.
Paid On Results are proud to announce another network first, “Voucher Manager” our new voucher/discount code management system that will allow Paid On Results Merchants to easily offer exclusive discount codes for Affiliates to use. These codes can be used offline as well as online opening up additional promotion opportunities. Every time a Merchant assigns an exclusive code to an Affiliate, when this code is used the Affiliate assigned the code will get paid the commission, it’s all done automatically so should an Affiliates exclusive code be taken by another Affiliate you can just sit back and do nothing as any sales made using the Affiliates exclusive code will be assigned to them. First stage that we will rolling out to interested Merchants at the end of this week is to do a very minor upgrade to the existing standard Paid On Results call-back code, once this is in place the Merchant will be able to offer Affiliates Exclusive codes that will track via the system. If you are a Merchant and are interested in offering this facility to your Affiliates please get in touch or sign up via the Merchant Interface at the end of the week when the system will be live.
